June is survived by her; sons, David E. (Regina) Blair of Nassau and Daniel J. (Daisy) Blair of East Greenbush; daughters, Donna F. (Thomas) Bolani of Nassau and Dale S. Baldwin of Pattersonville; brother, Peter Farr of Troy; grandchildren, Beth Ann, Keith, Tina, Leslie, Joseph, Nikki, Michael, Tiffany, Leanne, and Alissa. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, June was predeceased by her sisters, M. Olive Waterman and Constance Empie. June F. Blair, age 86, passed away on Monday, February 20 at the Resurrection Nursing Home in Castleton. She was a resident of Westbrook Drive in Nassau.
She was the daughter of Frank D. and Olive (Benoit) Farr, both of whom passed away, and the loving wife of Donald E. Blair, who also passed away. She was born in Albany, New York. Mrs. Blair graduated from Mildred Elley High School, where she had previously studied. She worked a few jobs here and there, but her primary role was that of a homemaker who took great joy in tending to her family, particularly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Camping, golfing, going for walks, and especially gambling were some of June’s favorite activities. Mrs. Blair was a passionate player of cards and also enjoyed the game of bingo.
