Willie Hardin “Bill” Sams, Jr., 77, of Kernersville, NC, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 11, 2022. A native of Greensboro, NC, Bill was the husband of 45 years to Christenia Lynn Hartman Sams and the son of Willie Hardin Sams, Sr. and Ruth Campbell Sams, both deceased. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Bill was the owner/operator for 45 years of Bellamy’s Auto Service, Greensboro, NC.
Survivors include his wife, Christenia; sister, Peggy Davis; nieces, Susie Crawford and husband, Steve, and Vickie Johnson and husband, James; nephews, Tommy Davis, Donald Key and wife, Donna, Gary Key, and Sonny Sams and wife, Lynn; special cousin, Jim Sams and wife, Carol; and his two four-legged babies, Sammy and Lizzie. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Sams; and sister, Pat Key. Per Bill’s wishes, there will be no formal services. Source

Malcolm Robert Hardin September 24, 1946 – September 8, 2022, Malcolm Robert Hardin, who resided in Birmingham, Alabama, lived to the age of 75 before passing away on Thursday, September 8, 2022. He was a kind friend, husband, father, and grandfather, and he will be sorely missed by a large number of people. On September 24, 1946, Malcolm Everett Hardin was born to his parents, David Everett Hardin and Clara Marie Tapley Hardin, in Lawton, Oklahoma. After a while, his family relocated to Las Cruces, New Mexico, which is where he spent his childhood and eventually earned his high school diploma.
On August 1, 1981, Malcolm wed Beverly “Bebe” Kitchens, and the couple established their home in Birmingham, Alabama, where Malcolm pursued a career in the field of human resources. Those who were close to Malcolm are aware that he enjoyed working on building projects, college football, and following the Atlanta Braves. He also enjoyed landscaping and working in his yard. In addition to being a voracious reader, he was also a book collector, and you could always find him with a book in his bag.
