2. William P. Lawrence Obituary, of Kingston, NH – Death

He was the son of the late William A. and Eva (Blanchette) Lawrence and was a graduate of the Haverhill Trade School Class of 1963. He was born in Haverhill and attended local schools. His parents both passed away. After that, he continued his education at Essex Agricultural and Technical Institute by enrolling in the Forestry Program. Bill served in the United States Army as a Specialist 4 during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Korea during that time. He was awarded the Marksman Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, and the Rifle M-1 Badge during his time in the military. After receiving an honorable discharge from the military in 1963, he enlisted in the National Guard and remained in the service until 1968.

Bill worked for Currier’s Furniture in Hampton, New Hampshire, as a delivery and maintenance man for a number of years during his employment there. He had been a member of the Mary Mother of the Church Parish, the Saint Luke Evangelist Parish, and the Saint Jude Council of the Knights of Columbus for a significant amount of time. He was devoted to his wife, children, and grandchildren, and he enjoyed maintaining and improving his home through activities such as gardening, woodworking, and home improvement projects. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, August 5, 2022, at 10 AM at Mary Mother of The Church of Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish, 12 Amesbury Road, Newton NH.
