Mindy Mccready cause of death and Obituary – The singer’s cause of death was due to complications of pneumonia and bronchitis. She was in stable condition at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, after being taken to the hospital Sunday night (June 18) following a flight back from a show in San Jose, California.
She was admitted to the hospital on June 12 after she stopped breathing while on stage in San Jose. After a few days of treatment doctors said her condition had improved, and the musician returned home to continue recovery. But on June 16 she went back to the hospital, where doctors discovered she had developed an infection in her lungs once again.
Following a series of tests, they were finally able to determine what caused her death.
According to TMZ.com, Mccready died of septic shock brought on by pnuemonia and bilateral pneumonia. Her final album ‘Barefoot Blue Jean Night’ came out earlier this year. Mccready released four studio albums before she broke up with husband and producer Terry McBride in 2006. Mccready had been suffering from chronic pain since having surgery in 2003 to remove polyps from her vocal cords. In 2009, Mindy announced that she would enter rehab for addiction issues.

McCreary died on March 31, 2013, aged 37, at a Nashville hospital following a drug overdose. Her death was announced by police in Shelbyville, Tennessee following a report of an unresponsive woman. According to police, McCready had been staying with friends in Shelbyville. When a friend arrived at the house, he found McCready unconscious and called emergency services. She was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she was pronounced dead shortly afterward. An autopsy revealed that McCready died of cardiac arrhythmia due to acute cocaine intoxication. On April 2, 2013, McCready’s body was flown back to Nashville and buried beside her mother, Mary Schreiner.
