3. David Williams Death – Obituary
Reverend David L. Williams Sr. is a devout man who has achieved many things: he is a Pastor, Teacher, Preacher, Husband, Father, Friend, Father in the Gospel, and most importantly, a Servant of God. His list of accomplishments is extensive. Over the course of more than 23 years of service, he held the position of under shepherd at the New Zion Baptist Church. During the time that he served as a pastor, the Lord made it possible for him to lead a great number of people who had lost their way to find Christ via the teaching and preaching of the Bible.
On Thursday, August 25, 2022, following a brief bout with illness, he passed from this life to the next and moved into his heavenly dwelling, which was built and fashioned by God. David was ensconced in the company of his relatives up to the time that God called him away. He is survived by his devoted wife, Linda Jones; his son, David Jr.; his daughter, Latonya; his sister, Hilda Jackson; his grandsons, Kadeem and Mark even; his granddaughters, Kiara and Chardonnay; and his great-grandchildren, A’maya, Kyric, Serenity, and Kadeem Jr.; all of whom will cherish his memories.
