Vincent Joseph Scully Jr. Obituary, Southwest Philadelphia: Following a brief battle with illness, Vincent Joseph Scully Jr. passed away on September 21, 2021 in a restful state. He had 83 years under his belt. On July 9, 1938, Vince was born in Southwest Philadelphia to the late Vincent Patrick Scully and Mary Agnes Ryan. Both of his parents have since passed away. He was the eldest of the three kids in the family. He met his future wife, Elizabeth “Betty” Anne (née Weinmann), while they were both students at West Philadelphia Catholic High School, and they went on to get married in 1956. They went on to have many happy years together. He began his career in the printing industry as an employee at Vincent P. Scully and Sons’ Printing and went on to work for the Philadelphia Housing Authority later on in his career. Full Obituary
