Victims identified in I-14 car incident early Saturday morning – Auto Accident
KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) – The Texas Office of General public Safety has discovered the a few victims who died in the early early morning fatal incident Saturday early morning.
Matthew Fernandez,22, Joshua Smith,20 and Aaliyah Marie Peinado, 20, were being pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Gregory Johnson.
Fernandez was travelling in a 2017 Toyota Corolla eastbound in the westbound lane of journey on IH-14 around the Ft. Hood T.J. Mills exit all around 1:56 a.m. July 16.
A 20-yr-outdated lady from Copperas Cove, was travelling in a 2013 Kia Optima westbound on IH-14 approaching the completely wrong way driver when the motor vehicles collided head on producing the Toyota caught fire after the collision, according to Sgt. Bryan Washko, Texas Department of General public Basic safety spokesman.
According to Washko, witnesses tried to no cost Fernandez from his automobile.
Smith and Peinado had been unrestrained and died in the collision as a final result of their injuries.
A 20-year-old female who was the passenger of the Kia was transported to Baylor Scott and White in Temple with incapacitating accidents.
The crash investigation is still lively and open
