The restaurant’s owner opened Valter’s Osteria nearly ten years ago, and the late man frequently was on hand to give diners his recommendations. In a statement mourning Nassi’s passing, the restaurant said that Walter had “built a monument for Salt Lake, his city,” according to KSL.com.
