Travis H Miles Obituary, Logan, Utah: On June 25, 2022, Travis H. Miles passed away at the age of 56. On August 14, 1965, he came into the world in Logan, Utah, to parents named Gerald Henry Miles and Helen Priscilla Hansen. Travis was given a diagnosis of type 1 diabetes at the tender age of seven, which resulted in a number of challenges throughout his life. In 1983, Travis received his diploma from Sky View High School, and in later years he attended Bridgerland Applied Technology Center, where he earned several certifications. At the age of 24, Travis had a kidney transplant in 1989 after suffering complications from diabetes that required him to be on dialysis. Unfortunately, the transplant was unsuccessful almost immediately after it was performed. It was a stroke of good fortune that he was given a second transplant, which went on to sustain him for almost 30 years. Full Obituary

Travis was a beloved son and friend, and his parents, Karen and Edward, as well as his sister Kerry and his sweetheart (babichka), Veronica, will always remember him with love and affection. O. Travis Miles Obituary, Athens: O. Travis Miles, age 80, a resident of Athens, Georgia, passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 30, 2017. Mr. Miles’ parents, Harris F. Miles, Sr., and Bessie White Miles, welcomed him into the world on March 19, 1937 in Limestone County, Alabama. Funeral services will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at 1:00 p.m., with Ron Oakley and Dan Hughes serving as the officiating clergy. The viewing will take place on Saturday, beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until 1:00 p.m., prior to the service. Roselawn Cemetery will be the location of the interment. Mr. Miles served in the United States Postal Service for a total of forty years before taking early retirement. He was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. He was a former worker in the Church Nursery and was given the nickname “Paw Paw Miles.” He was also a youth sports coach. Full Obituary
