The police are looking for a vehicle that they suspect was responsible for the death of a man who was found on the southwestern side of Indianapolis one month ago. At around 11:45 p.m., officers from the IMPD responded to a call at the intersection of Mann and West Mooresville roads. Sunday, Aug. 7. A male victim was discovered laying in the road and had been pronounced dead by medics before the officers got at the scene. The victim was eventually identified as Tom Hembree, who was 81 years old.
The police are seeking for a Chevy Malibu that was manufactured between 2008 and 2012 because they believe it was the car that struck the man. The color of the Chevrolet Malibu is unknown, but the police have stated that it will have damage to the front passenger side as well as the windshield. William H. Hembree, age 91, of Grande Pointe, cherished husband of Blanche (Casier) Hembree, passed away in a calm and peaceful manner on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. Son of Cassie (Styles) and Marshall Hembree, who both passed away, Hembree was born in Acworth, Georgia in 1928. devoted father to Houston Hembree (Dale) and M’Liss Hembree (Matthew VanArkel). Great Papa of Mikaylah and Austyn, and Papa of Amanda, Jordan, Bailey (Jason), and Morgan (Dwayne).
His sons Marshall and Martin, along with all of his other brothers and sisters, passed away before him. William spent many years farming and working at Navistar; in his spare time, he liked a variety of sports and games, including golf, bowling, and card games.
