Sheldon McKee Obituary: It is with broken hearts that the family of Sheldon McKee announces his passing at Victoria Hospital in London on Monday, August 22nd, 2022, at the age of 37. He passed away surrounded by the love of his family after a courageous battle with injuries sustained from an automobile accident. Sheldon’s family would like to thank the staff at the Critical Care Trauma Unit and a very special thank-you to Dr. Neil Perry, RN Stacey, and social worker Bev Lewis for all the kindness and compassion you’ve shown Sheldon and his family over the last two months.

Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Monday, August 29th, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-9:00 p.m. A funeral service to celebrate Sheldon’s life will be held on Tuesday, August 30th, 2022 at the Wingham Knights of Columbus Centre at 1:00 p.m. with interment at Wingham Cemetery.  Full Obituary

Richard C. Sheldon Obituary, of South Windsor: On Sunday, May 29, 2022, Richard C. Sheldon, 58 years old, a resident of South Windsor, passed away suddenly. Richard’s birthday is August 23rd, 1963, and he was born in Manchester. He spent his childhood in South Windsor and received his high school diploma from South Windsor High. In addition to working for the East Hartford Board of Education, Richard ran his own company, which was called Roadmaster Recovery Billiards, and he was also the owner of the company. The family was the most important thing in Rich’s life.

He was a gentleman who was caring, loving, and kind to others. He was devoted to his obedient canine, Basil, and enjoyed fishing, gardening, nature, and Cape Cod in his spare time. He was a very kind and generous man who would assist anyone who was struggling financially. He is survived by his ex-wife and best friend, Deborah Sheldon, who lives in South Windsor; his daughter Allison Sheldon, who lives in Enfield and was the bright spot in his life; his parents, David and Elaine Sheldon, who also live in South Windsor; and his brother, Michael.   Full Obituary

Patrick M. Sheldon Obituary, of East Longmeadow: Patrick M. Sheldon, 70, of East Longmeadow, passed away on January 22, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. Pat was born in Springfield on June 22, 1951, the son of the late Frank M. and Eunice (Williams) Sheldon. Pat is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Karen E. (Christensen) Sheldon, four devoted children, Amy MacRae and her husband Kevin, Christopher Lovell and his wife Michelle, Ashley Fiddler and her husband Michael, Amber Kaselouskas and her husband Michael, and five adored grandchildren Avery, Alexa, Kailee, Brynn, and Nolan; his sister Pamela Liddy and her husband Robert, his mother and father-in-law, Warren and Helen (Kolakowski) Christensen, his sister-in-law Mary Christensen and his 5 nephews Thomas, Matthew, Andrew, Daniel, and James, as well as his lifelong friends Scott Davis and Donald Smith.

He was a graduate of Classical High School, Class of 1969. He was formerly the manager of the envelope division at Southworth Company before retiring in 2017. Pat enjoyed spending time with his family in his favorite place, Old Orchard Beach, ME, where he was a competitive sand dollar collector and mini golf loser. He bowled in the Shaker Commercial League with his Dad and was a Mass State Champion member of the “Bowling Burnouts”, was a member of Sons of the Desert, and enjoyed playing his guitars. Pat was a kind and thoughtful person. There was no one handier than Pat, he could fix anything and was always willing to help. He was deeply loved and his sarcastic nature and sense of humor will be greatly missed. Family and friends will gather and remember Pat on Thursday, February 3, 2022, from 4-7 p.m. at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield.     Full Obituary
