Demise-Cause Of Demise – Obituary

Sardis City law enforcement have recognized a suspect as properly as the sufferer associated in a deadly hit-and-operate incident that took position past week.

According to Chief Will Alexander, warrants have been issued for 22-calendar year-outdated Jared Connor Rollins for felony leaving the scene of an incident that resulted in the death of Derrick Heath Bishop. Bishop, 28, was using a bicycle around the 12,000 block of U.S. Highway 431 close to Faucett Vehicle Sales late last Thursday night time.

Alexander claimed his officers have recovered the auto Rollins was driving when he allegedly struck Bishop — a 2015 Ford F350 van — but as of Friday morning, they have been not able to identify Rollins.

“We’ve tried out speaking to his mom to see if he would, with any luck ,, turn himself in,” Alexander told The Reporter. “Right now it is a slight felony, but if he goes on the operate, it could be even worse for him down the road.”
