She was the daughter of Mary Isabella Rorrer Krug, who resided in Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania, and the late Robert B. Krug, Sr. She was born on May 31, 1954. Clifford and Rosemary Stillwill Grastorf welcomed their daughter Sandra on May 16, 1936 at their home in Angelica, New York. Sandra was their daughter. She tied the knot with Leo “Don” Hunt on the sixteenth of August in the year 1952 in Belmont. Sandra was a member of the graduating class of 1952 from Belmont High School. Her professional life began in 1956, and the following year, she, her husband Don, Bayard Tullar, and Conrad Church founded Genesee Valley Nurseries. The company was in the business of providing landscaping services for the state of New York until it was sold in 1996. In addition, the Hunt family owned the Belmont Laundry, as well as the Warsaw and Perry car washes. These businesses are currently owned and operated by the Hunts’ son, Douglas “Pat” Hunt.
