1. Sandra Cunningham Obituary, born in Connellsville, Pa – Death

On March 4, 1956, Sandra wed the man who would become her husband, Robert L. Cunningham, and began raising a family not long after. Her spouse and her children benefited much from her years of hard work as a homemaker. Bowling, gardening, playing bingo, and going to casinos were some of her favorite things to do in her spare time. Camping and traveling were two of her and her husband’s favorite things to do, and they were both avid members of the “Sunshine Seekers” camper club. They had a lot of fun doing square dancing and swing dancing together.

After Sandra’s husband retired, the couple relocated to Myrtle Beach, but they eventually settled back in the Youngstown area so that they could be closer to their families. Her children, Cindy Cunningham-Maurice (Robert) of New Middletown and Allen Cunningham (Frederick Austgen) of Youngstown, as well as her sister Nora Williams Dorian of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, are among those who are left behind after her passing. “We will miss Sandy. She was a great Christian lady. I remember being on the phone with her several time for the prayer chain. She prayed with me several times and I will always remember that and appreciate it. Her love for people and her Lord was strong. May she be singing in Heaven right now.”
