KERSHAW COUNTY, South Carolina (SC) New information concerning the death of a motorcyclist that occurred on Saturday evening has been made available by the Kershaw County Coroner’s Office. The accident that the motorcyclist was involved in occurred around 7 o’clock in the evening, as stated by the Coroner David West. in the vicinity of the intersection where Lachicotte Road and Highway 60 meet in Lugoff. According to West, the rider, 57-year-old Ronny Layton Jr., lost control of the motorcycle as he approached Highway 601 South, which caused him to be ejected from the vehicle. According to the coroner’s office, he was declared dead at the scene of the accident. Specifics on how the crash occurred were not available; however, these types of accidents are typically investigated by the South Carolina Highway Patrol. Source

On Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., a memorial service will be held at the Strode Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwater, with Mr. Craig Shriner serving as the officiant. The arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Strode Funeral Home. Ron Chlouber Ellis was the son of Allie Chlouber and Verma (Bellamy) Chlouber Ellis. He was born on June 20, 1937 in Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma. The wedding took place on April 9, 1955 in Burkburnett, Texas. Ronald wed Dorothy Newton.
Later on, he tied the knot with Toni Reese on September 18, 1993 in the town of Taylorsville, Oklahoma. After completing his education at Ft. Cobb Schools and earning a master’s degree in Animal Science from Oklahoma State University, Ron entered the military. At the Western Technology Center in Burns Flat, Oklahoma, where he worked, he was in charge of teaching the Meat Processing and Marketing course. His parents, one of his brothers named Nick Chlouber, and one of his sisters named Janis Bartosovsky all passed away before Ron.
