Ricky Arandt Obituary: “RIP Ricky Arandt. As we lead into the 2022 finals series, the Lara Wildcats have had a far greater loss than anything we could experience on the playing field. The sudden passing of one of our playing group has shattered the hearts of anyone who met Ricky. Ricky was an incredible guy and will be remembered for his up beat and funny nature that lifted everyone up when he was around. Ricky played 114 senior games for the club making his way from C grade to A grade over the years, he was hard working and always put his hand up to help out around at the club when it was needed. The Arandts are an important member of the Lara Wildcats family and our thoughts, prayers and condolences are with Kerry, Luke, Travis, Michelle, Ashleigh, Hunter and Jett. RIP.” Full Obituary
Rick Arndt Obituary: Mr. Rick Arndt, 58, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Northwest Health La Porte in La Porte, Indiana. Mr. Arndt was a resident of La Porte, Indiana. Rick was someone who took pleasure in the kitchen and spent the majority of his adult life working in the food service industry. He is survived by his sister Christine, his brother David, his sister-in-law Nancy and his brother-in-law Charlie, as well as a number of aunts, cousins, nieces, and friends, as well as his “Long time close Buddy / special friend,” Greg Haverstock of South Bend, Indiana. His parents, JR. (Junior), and Sharon, as well as his grandparents, passed away before him. Above all else, Rick counted himself fortunate to have Jake and Mary Neary as his neighbors because they are such wonderful people. Over the course of their relationship with Rick, which spanned several decades, they were extremely charitable. As his health declined over the course of his later years, they became more like “special angels” for him. If anyone would like to make a donation in Rick’s honor, they are asked to do so through one of the local charities. Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services can be found at 602 Maple Avenue in LaPorte, Indiana. They are in charge of making the necessary arrangements. The funeral service will consist of cremation. Full Obituary
