A deadly car accident occurred on Wednesday in Washington County, New York, and the victim has been identified as Richelle MacNeil Wooddell, who was a resident of Granville, New York. Late on Wednesday afternoon, Wooddell, age 38, was one of two people who perished in a collision in Granville. At approximately 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Wooddell was reportedly driving a vehicle on New York State Route 22 close to where she resides in Granville when the vehicle she was operating collided with another vehicle.
Wooddell was taken to a local hospital, where she was subsequently pronounced dead from injuries consistent with blunt force trauma after being brought there. The driver of the other vehicle involved in the collision had injuries that were not life-threatening. The investigators are still trying to determine what caused the crash. Washington County is a county in the U.S. state of New York. As of the 2020 census, the population was 61,302. The county seat is Fort Edward.
