1. Richard Borders Obituary, of Irvington, New Jersey – Death
“I’m devastated to learn that my mentor and biggest supporter, Richard Borders, left this life and has moved on to the next. From the moment Richard first heard me sing at age 14, he believed in my music in a way that no one ever has. His experience in the music industry was unmatched, having done lighting and sound for legends like Pink Floyd, The Who, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, etc. He had so many amazing stories about the music industry and life on the road.He was one of the most selfless people I’ve ever known, and I will never forget his support. I owe many amazing shows and videos and endless words of encouragement to him. He gave me everything, and taught me so much not only about music, but about staying positive. His enthusiasm will forever inspire me. He was truly one of a kind.I am so blessed to not only have worked with him, but to have called him a friend. He left much too soon and still had so many goals for spreading music with a message, but I know he is at peace and will forever guide me and never let me give up. He will live on through music in the countless lives he touched. All I can say is thank you, and I can’t begin to say it enough.” Source
