Police in Harrisburg trying to identify driver in fatal bike accident – Car Accident

Police are trying to identify the driver involved in a fatal bicycle accident in Harrisburg. Police say a female bicyclist was hit by a car late Friday night on Market Street at around 9:45 p.m. and later died from her injuries on Sunday. Investigators say the driver was making a U-turn when the vehicle struck the biker. The biker struck the driver’s side of the vehicle and traveled underneath the car.On Tuesday night, a white ghost bike was placed on the 1100 block of Market Street to bring awareness to the local community in hopes that people will come forward with information regarding the incident.
