Pete Burns obituary: Pete Burns is best known for his 1985 hit song “You Spin Me Round (Like a Record),” which he recorded with the band Dead or Alive. Later in his career, he became a reality TV star and finished fifth in the final of Celebrity Big Brother in 2006. He is also known for being a living advertisement for the risks associated with plastic surgery. Burns, who passed away at the age of 57 from a heart attack, stated that he had been subjected to more than two hundred surgical procedures, the majority of which were performed in an effort to correct previous unsuccessful efforts. It was around the same time that Boy George and Culture Club, Wham!, and Frankie Goes to Hollywood were at the height of their popularity that he reached his peak as a pop star in the middle of the 1980s. Burns, who was known for his ambiguous sexuality, androgynous appearance, and spectacular fashion choices, finally succeeded, after several years of trying, in situating himself in the ideal environment at the ideal time. Full Obituary
