1. Peggy Lou Jarrell Death, of Mount Airy – Obituary

At the age of 89, Mrs. Peggy Lou Jarrell Tate, who resided in Mount Airy, passed away at Northern Regional Hospital on the evening of September 14, 2022. Mrs. Tate was the younger of two children born to the late Zebulon Vance and Rhoda Elizabeth Bowman Jarrell. She was born on August 14, 1933, in Surry County, and she was the younger of two children. Peggy worked as a pediatrics outreach worker for the Surry County Health Department until her retirement. She was also a dedicated member of the Midway Baptist Church for a very long time.

2. Peggy Michelle Mohney Death, of Napoleon – Obituary

Peggy Michelle Mohney (Gifford), age 59, of Lake Somerset, Indiana, formerly of Napoleon Township and Bloomington, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor. She was a resident of Napoleon Township and Bloomington, Indiana. Peggy Gifford was born on March 17, 1963. Her parents, Robert and Carol (Kelley), named her Peggy at birth. She tied the knot with her best friend from childhood, Richard L. “Rick” Mohney, Jr., in the year 2010.

Peggy received her diploma from Napoleon High School in 1981 and continued her education at Jackson Community College, where she received her Associate of Arts degree. She worked as a receptionist and a clerk for a number of companies, including Midbrook Products, Gentle Dental, Chelsea Dentistry, and Bloomington Family Dentistry, among others.
