Paul V. Walker Frederick, Maryland: After a brief battle with illness, Paul V. Walker, age 81, from Frederick, Maryland, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022. Paul Walker Engels was the son of the late Claude and Edna (Engels) Walker. He was born on December 27, 1940, in Erie, Pennsylvania. After completing his high school education at McDowell, he found employment in Erie, Pennsylvania, at both Lakeshore Country Club and Erie Bolt and Nut. After relocating to Maryland, he began his career as a sheet metal fabricator at Airflow and later worked for Montgomery County Revenue Authority as a greens keeper up until the time of his retirement.

He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, hunting, and metal detecting, as well as spending time with his pets and a cup of coffee while sitting on his front porch. November was his favorite month of the year because he could go hunting on Walker Mountain. Paul also enjoyed maintaining a close relationship with all of his friends and family by sending text messages and making Facebook posts first thing in the morning (wakeup). He was the son of Chauncey and Alice (Laman) Walker, both of whom passed away before his birth on July 7, 1946, in Green Township, Michigan. During the war in Vietnam, Paul served his country as a member of the United States Army. In San Diego, California, on August 23, 1975, he tied the knot with a woman whose maiden name was Pamela A. Schultz. She manages to live past him. In the city of Saginaw, Mr. Walker worked at both General Motors and Saginaw Steering Gear at various times. Baseball and football were two of his favorite sports to watch.

In addition to his wife Pam, he is survived by their sons, Todd Walker and his wife Robin, who are currently stationed in Alaska with the United States Army, and Richard Walker and his special friend Ashley Latter Lutze of Bay City; six grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters along with their spouses, Bill and Phyllis Walker of Almont, Bob and Juanita Walker of North Branch, David and Paula Walker of California, Peggy and Lynn Kolvedt of St. Charles, and Karen and In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his son, Scott Allen Walker, in 1989, as well as by two sisters and one brother, Lucille Caudill, Patricia Ouimette, and Richard Lee Walker.
