Mr. Paul Ferdinand Pierre Jr., age 66, a resident of Swainsboro, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at his residence, according to the announcement made by Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors. Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel will be the location of the funeral services that will be place on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Reverend Josh Black will preside over the ceremony. The family will greet those who have come to pay their respects at the funeral home beginning one hour before the service. For everyone’s safety and the protection of their health and well-being, the CDC social distancing standards will be followed, and mask use is strongly urged.
San Lorenzo Cemetery, located at 1635 US-1, St. Augustine, Florida 32084, will be the location of the interment on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Alan Dykes and the Deacons of Summertown Baptist Church will be serving as pallbearers. Mr. Pierre was born in St. Augustine, Florida, on October 21, 1954. His parents, Paul F. Sr. and Ann Gray Pierre, have since passed away. He had reached retirement age and cherished his time with his family and the Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Pierre was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Adams Pierre; son, Paul Ryan Pierre; and sister, Yvonne Pierre. Mr. Pierre was a member of Summertown Baptist Church.
