1. Nancy A. Shannon Death, of Bethlehem – Obituary
At the age of 89, Nancy A. Shannon, who resided in Bethlehem Township, passed away at Country Meadows of Bethlehem on September 16, 2022. She was the late wife of H. Harold Shannon and John P. Philippi, both of whom predeceased her. On December 3, 1932, Nancy Urban was born in Allentown to her late parents, Maurice Urban and Ruth (Santee) Urban. She worked for the United States Postal Service as a rural postal carrier in Kintnersville for a total of 25 years before taking early retirement.
Hellertown’s St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Roman Catholic Church was where Nancy regularly attended services. She thoroughly enjoyed fishing, especially in Canada. Painting, knitting, and reading were some of Nancy’s other hobbies. In her time with the Riegelsville Emergency Squad, Nancy attained the certification necessary to work as an Emergency Medical Technician. In addition to that, she had volunteered for a considerable amount of time at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem. Source

Originally from Glennie, Nancy A. Shannon now resides in Navarre, Florida. Navarre, Florida was the location of Nancy Ann Shannon’s passing on January 11, 2019, at the age of 81. On April 2, 1937, Nancy Peltier was born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan to her late parents, James Peltier and Alice (Brindley) Peltier. They tied the knot on February 14, 1986 in Tawas City, Michigan. Vincent Shannon was her groom. On January 23, 1998, Vincent was taken from us. Nancy had spent her entire life caring deeply about the people in her circle of friends and family. She appeared to take immense pleasure in living. Because of this, she enjoyed playing practical jokes and acting as the prankster at whatever event that she attended.
Her children, Rhonda (Don) Jennings, Carol (Steen) Miller, Judy (John) Dowding, and John (Lee) Diggs, are the only ones who will remember her after she has passed away. In addition, she is survived by one sister, Joan Foster, as well as nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Nancy is survived by one Son, Kurt Diggs, and one Sister, Judy Marchbanks, who both passed away before her. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Lee Ramsay Funeral Home – STANDISH CHAPEL in Standish, Michigan. The Reverend Fr.
