Police said that 32-year-old Myles Sanderson went into “medical distress” after being arrested on a highway in the Canadian state of Saskatchewan during a high-speed pursuit and eventually passed away as a result of his injuries. They did not provide any specifics. Earlier reports stated that Sanderson’s death was the result of injuries that he inflicted upon himself.There are still ten patients being treated in hospitals. There are three patients who are in really serious condition.
It is not known what led to the several homicides that took place on Sunday over a total of 13 different crime scenes. My boyfriend, Terry Sanderson, who passed away recently at the age of 75, was a pioneering crusader for LGBT rights. He was deeply committed to the cause of social justice, and a significant portion of his working life was spent providing assistance to adults who suffered from learning disabilities. He began this work in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, and continued it in Ealing, west London, which is where we eventually made our home. Terry was born into grinding poverty in the mining village of Maltby in South Yorkshire.
He attended Maltby secondary modern school, but he did not graduate with any qualifications because his father, Sandy, worked as a miner, and his mother, Margaret (nee Goodgrove), worked as a farmworker. Terry was the youngest son of his parents. Terry disputed the decision that the local council had made not to allow a homosexual disco that he intended to organize on local authority grounds in the 1970s in the local newspaper.
The decision had been made by the local council. By doing so, he came out to the village as well as to his family, who were supportive of him and, later on, of both of us. After that, he created a local chapter of the Campaign for Homosexual Equality (CHE), and in 1974, he launched Essentially Gay from his bedroom as a mail-order company to assist those who were closeted and isolated further afield.
