Michael D Scully Obituary, Medford: Michael D. Scully, born in 1966 On June 30, 2013, a man who had lived in Medford his entire life, served in the United States Navy, and had retired from the Medford Fire Department passed away at his home after a brief illness. Mr. Scully was the son of Michael J. and Winona Scully, both of Medford, and was born in that city. Michael J. Scully passed away. Mr. Scully served as a firefighter for the City of Medford for a total of 26 years before becoming disabled on the 14th of February, 2000 while performing his job duties. His retirement years were spent in Thornton, New Hampshire, where he renovated a small family cabin with a view of the Mad River. He also spent a lot of enjoyable hours mountain climbing, biking, fishing, and skiing throughout the White Mountains with his family and friends. Mr. Scully is survived by his wife Lynda, as well as their children Michael A. Scully and his wife Danielle of Wilmington, Jennifer L. Scully of Medford, Richard Mobbs and his wife Nancy of Londonderry, New Hampshire, David Mobbs of Londonderry, New Hampshire, Jason Mobbs and his wife Laura of Virginia Beach, and Lynda Wallace and her husband Andrew of Belmont. Michael Joseph Scully Obituary, Oakland, CA: After a brief bout with illness, Michael Joseph Scully, age 90, passed away on September 7, 2016, and was welcomed into eternal peace by his devoted children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Mike Scully, the son of Maurice Scully and Eleanor (Walsh) Scully, was born on July 10, 1926 in Arnprior, Ontario. His parents’ names are Maurice and Eleanor. Mike was the oldest child of a barber and a school teacher. He grew up in the small town of Douglas, Ontario, in the Ottawa Valley, where he excelled in sports, especially hockey, and harmless mischief as the natural leader among his friends. In addition, his parents worked as barbers. During World War II, he enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force at the age of 17 and was given the opportunity to train as a tail-gunner in Lancaster bombers. After the war was over, he went back to school to complete his senior year. Full Obituary

Scully, Michael William Obituary, Mt. Pleasant: Scully, Michael William, age 60, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at Rosebush Manor in Rosebush. Scully was a resident of Mount Pleasant. A Funeral Mass in honor of Mike will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at 10 am, with Father Loren Kalinowski presiding as the celebrant. The body will be interred at Calvary Cemetery, and then the Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home will host a luncheon in the immediate aftermath. On Friday, the family will greet friends at the Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m., and the Vigil will begin at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will take place at the church on Saturday beginning an hour before the start of Mass. Donations in memory of the deceased can be sent to Rosebush Manor, MidMichigan Hospice, or the Children’s Healing Center. At the funeral home, you’ll find envelopes available for your use. Mike Scully is the son of Robert Joseph Scully and Esther Irene (Halfmann) Scully. He was born in Mt. Pleasant on June 3, 1955. Full Obituary
