The Integrated Homicide Investigation Crew (IHIT) has discovered the female who died in a double capturing inside a residence in Maple Ridge.

IHIT claimed it is pinpointing the deceased lady as 35-yr-aged Cashmere Ali, in hopes of advancing the investigation.

“We are working to identify witnesses that can lose some light-weight on what led to this tragedy,” claims Sergeant Timothy Pierotti of IHIT. “We are urging all associates of Ms. Ali to appear ahead and communicate with police, as we perform to build a timeline of situations.”

At this time, IHIT is not releasing the name of the male survivor, out of regard for his privacy.

On Friday, July 15 at 8:40 a.m., Ridge Meadows RCMP responded to a report of a female and man suffering from gunshot wounds at a residence in the 22600 block of 119 Avenue.

Officers on scene supplied crisis very first assist to the female, who later succumbed to her injuries in clinic.

The person experienced non-existence threatening injuries.

IHIT has taken perform of the investigation and is working in partnership with the Ridge Meadows RCMP, the BC Coroners Provider and the RCMP Built-in Forensic Identification Portion (IFIS).
