1. Madison Seifert Death – Obituary

On September 19, 2022, Madison Seifert, 23, of Arlington, passed away. Steven and Kerri (Valerius) Seifert, who currently reside in Arlington, welcomed Madison into the world on June 16, 1999 in Findlay, Ohio. Her daughter Eliana Seifert, siblings Alexander Garcia of Findlay, Nicholas Seifert of Wilmington, North Carolina, and Megan Seifert of Arlington, paternal grandparents Richard and Vicky Seifert of Carey, maternal grandparents Lucy Valerius of Arlington and Edward Valerius of Findlay, as well as a large number of devoted aunts, uncles, and cousins,

As well as her cat Baby, also survive. Emma Sue Seifert, her daughter, predeceased her. Madison had a large heart, a strong will, and was a caring person. She cherished spending time with her family, especially with her beloved daughter Eliana. Madison loved being outside and enjoyed playing soccer, fishing, and hunting. Madison loved to color and was very creative. Madison had a strong affinity for animals. Madison’s visitation will take place at the Hanneman Funeral Home, 201 Osborn Ave. Read more

 

2. Dean Seifert Death – Obituary

Leon Frank and Pearl C. (Allen) Seifert’s son Dean Leon Seifert was born on June 23, 1925, not far from Clifton, and he died on August 6, 2022, at Park Villa in Clyde, at the age of 97 years, one month, and fourteen days. Leon and Pearl gave birth to two boys; one of them, Dean, grew up on the family farm and went to school in Agenda. In 1942, Dean earned his high school diploma from Agenda and began working on his father’s farm.

Dean loved being in the country, working with his John Deere tractors, and taking care of his cattle. He was a farmer and stockman his entire life. He served three terms on the Greenleaf/Linn Elevator COOP board and two terms on the Washington County Soil Conservation Board, including two years as President of the Board. He was also the mayor of Brantford and a member of the boards for the Brantford Community Center and District #16 Cemetery. Source
