Flowers and cards were left on benches near the fields at South Eugene High School on Thursday as a memorial for Lyla Lauderbach, a senior at South Eugene High School who passed away on Tuesday after being involved in a single-vehicle accident south of Eugene. Lauderbach was 17 years old. Sticky notes were left by teammates attesting to Lauderbach’s qualities as a loyal friend who ensured that everyone on the varsity girls soccer team felt included and supported. Lauderbach served as the team captain for the school’s program. According to one of the notes, Lyla “lit up every life she touched.” “During my first year with the company, she took care to ensure that everybody felt welcome, and she did a great job of making me feel like I belonged there.

She was witty, generous, and introspective all at the same time. She will be sorely missed by everyone.” In an email sent to family on Wednesday night, South Eugene High School Principal Carey Killen revealed that Lauderbach had passed away. Killen stated that “we recognize that Lyla will be sorely missed within our community and that words simply cannot explain the pain that many are feeling.” “We know that Lyla will be so deeply missed within our community” According to the statements of Lane County Sergeant Thomas Speldrich, Lauderback was killed in a collision that occurred on South Willamette near Fox Hollow Road on Tuesday afternoon. Barbara Evelyn Lauderbach, 24 January 1934 – 4 June 2015,Concord,After battling a number of health problems, Barbara Lauderbach died away on Thursday in a dignified and dignified manner. She had a kind heart and an extraordinary capacity for hard work, and she left an impression on everyone she met. Barbara was born in Oklahoma. When she was seven years old, her family moved to Martinez, California. She attended Alhambra High School, where she graduated with her high school diploma. Barbara was employed in several different capacities throughout her life, including serving as a cook at a juvenile detention center in Martinez for a period of twelve years. There, she became acquainted with her lifelong buddy Henry Brown.

Love (1992); her husband, Allan Lauderbach (2005); her brother, sisters, and a large number of nieces and nephews also predeceased her. Maureen Lytle and Lisa Love are Barbara’s daughters, and she is also survived by her granddaughters Stephanie Lytle (Donovan), Suzanne Lytle (Kyle), Melissa Lytle, and Danielle Davis (Kevin), as well as her great-grandchildren.
