Ben Vogel of Fort Smith, Arkansas: Ben Vogel, a resident of Fort Smith, was brought into this world on March 22, 1953, in Baltimore, Maryland, to parents named Erich Vogel and Anna Kremsmair Vogel. Ben Vogel passed away on October 24, at 10:05. He was 56. Ben is survived by his lifelong companion and best friend, Rita Avlos, who has been by his side for the past 38 years; son George Avlos and his wife Deanna of Fort Smith; son Heath Avlos and his wife Danae of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and son Jonathon Vogel and his wife Lindsay of Van Buren. Ben cherished each of his seven granddaughters and granddaughter-in-law: Brandi, Brittany, Hayden, Lindsey, Lexie, and Emma Claire. A computer whiz, a Harley rider, and an avid listener to music. Ben was a man who cherished life and made sure to experience it to the fullest. Ben’s many friends and coworkers at Pro Clean and Baldor will miss his quick wit and the wonderful stories he told. Lindsey On December 19th, 1985, Nicole Witthauer entered the world to become the daughter of Paul and Lynnette (Goehner) Witthauer. When she was younger, Lindsey was active in a variety of extracurricular activities, including band, golf, and hockey. After completing her high school education at Jamestown High School in 2004, she went on to study at the University of North Dakota. In 2009, Lindsey received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship from the University of Phoenix. St. John’s Lutheran Church in Jamestown played host to the wedding ceremony that took place on October 20, 2012, between Lindsey and Steve Vogel.
