2. Jose Ochoa Obituary, Born in Jalisco, Mexico – Death

On the morning of Friday, February 4, 2022, at his residence in Mosinee, Wisconsin, Jose Ochoa, age 70, was taken from this world in an unexpected manner. Castulo de Jesus Ochoa and Virginia (Hernandez) Ochoa, both of whom passed away before their son’s birth, welcomed him into the world on June 9, 1951 in Jalisco, Mexico. Beginning at the age of seven, Jose spent his whole childhood in southern California. Working as a Porsche technician in Santa Monica, California helped Jose develop a passion for autos, which led to the eventual opening of his own Porsche repair shop in the city. He was known for his expertise and garnered respect and admiration due to the fact that he raced multiple Porsches.

In 1983, Jose and Karla Kamke, who was originally from Wisconsin, met at Jose’s Porsche shop, where he was willing to assist Karla in repairing her car, despite the fact that it was a Datsun. The couple tied the knot on June 24th, 1990. They made their home in Mosinee, Wisconsin, in 1991, where they brought up their daughter, spent 30 winters together (he counted), and created innumerable memories. During the time that he spent in Wisconsin, Jose established himself as an important member of the Mosinee and Wausau communities. He spent years working as a service advisor at numerous car dealerships, and during that time, many of his clients became his friends. Source
