1. Lee Miller Obituary, of Bicknell, Indiana – Death

On February 6, 1962, Lee was born in Knox County, Indiana, to the late Blanton and Eliza Miller, who had previously passed away. Lee had great pleasure in working on tractors and automobiles. He delighted, above all else, in providing for his family and in the role of a parent. His parents and siblings, as well as his brothers Homer and Raymond Miller, had passed away before him. Lee’s wife, Angelic Miller, son, Lewis Miller, and siblings Rita Mullins, Richard Miller, and Arnie Miller are among those who will miss him after his passing. A memorial service honoring the deceased’s life will be held at a later time, and the interment will take place at Fletcher Cemetery in Hamlet, Indiana. Full obituary

 

2. Denny Miller Obituary, born in Muscatine  Death

Up to the time of his retirement, he worked for Stanley Consultants as a contract administrator. He had two novels published under his name as an author. He was a very involved participant in the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars Honor Guard. Lee was also influential in the replacement of the Civil War Statue at the Muscatine Court House and the renaming of the by-pass to “Douglas King Memorial Highway.” Both of these changes took place as a result of Lee’s efforts. In 2011, he was honored with the Citizen of the Year award presented by the Muscatine Chamber of Commerce.

His legacy will live on through his five children and their spouses: Tammy Rominger and her husband Bill of Muscatine, Denny Miller of Muscatine, Kathy Verslues and her husband Gary of Jefferson City, Missouri, Jennifer Bowden, and her husband Jason of Rock Island, Illinois, and Tracy Holladay and her husband Cory of Muscatine. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren: Trina Dublo, Marci Rominger, Drew Rominger, Thomas Verslues, and Hannah Verslue. Read more
