Lauren Stevens Carey Obituary, Beverly Hills: On Sunday, October 13, 2019, Lauren Stevens Carey, age 31, passed away peacefully at her home in Beverly Hills. She is survived by her sister, Meagan Carey, her parents, Stevens and Indy Carey, and several cousins. Her parents and sister are both named Carey. On Saturday, October 26, 2019, a funeral service was held at Forest Lawn, which is located in the Hollywood Hills area of California. Lauren’s birthday is November 4th, 1987, and she was born in Los Angeles. In the city of Los Angeles, she received her education at St. Paul the Apostle School, Marymount High School, and Loyola Marymount University. She began her college career (at SMU) in the film school, then transferred to LMU to study art, and finally graduated from LMU in 2011 with a degree in communications. Catherine (“Cathy”) Louise Carey Obituary, Mount Dora, FL: Catherine “Cathy” Louise Carey, a resident of Mount Dora, Florida, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 3, 2022, after passing away in peace. On November 4th, 1928, Cathy Warren was born to her parents, Harley and Dorothy Warren, on the farm that they owned in Little Sioux, Iowa. Both of them attended the Chillicothe (Missouri) Business College after Melvin “Dale” Carey had returned from serving in WWII. It was there that she first became acquainted with the man who would later become her husband and the love of her life. After getting married on April 16, 1948, they initially settled in Orlando, then relocated to Temple Terrace in 1955, and finally settled in Jacksonville in 1965. After Dale passed away in 2012, Cathy relocated to Mount Dora, Florida, in 2015, so that she could be closer to her sons. Cathy began her professional life as an executive administrative assistant and went on to achieve great success in the role. Her love and devotion to her husband, her three sons, her grandson, and the countless other members of her family and friends were both astounding and an example to those around her. She was a truly wonderful person who will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Because of Cathy, the heavens are shining more brightly. Full Obituary

Hollis Ann (Hughes) Carey Obituary: Hollis Ann Carey was a wonderful Daughter, Sister, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She was also a wonderful Great Grandmother. Her passing occurred on Saturday, January 26, 2019, just a few days before she would have turned 65 years old. Her husband, L. Michael Carey, and her three daughters, Shannon Moore, Meredith Carey, and Lauren Carey, are the only people who will remember her. She passed away. Her stepchildren Keith Carey, Scott Carey, Sheila Carey, and Erin Carey all have fond memories of their stepmother and consider her to be a family member. Hollis moved to Houston, Texas, several years ago after having spent the majority of his life in Syracuse, New York. Hollis attended Cornell University and earned a degree in Hotel Management, but after having children, she devoted her time to taking care of her family instead of her career. She was a joyful person who delighted in being in the company of her close friends. Hollis was fond of all kinds of animals and the color pink, and those who were closest to her will grievously miss her witty attitude.
