Kyle Koehler Obituary: On Monday evening, a motorcycle accident claimed the life of Kyle Koehler, who served as the Vice President of the Short-course Off-Road Drivers Association. The following day, the series provided confirmation of the news. Koehler spent the weekend in Michigan at the Bark River International Raceway, which hosted the Championship Off-Road round. While he was there, he interacted with a number of his SODA coworkers as well as other drivers. SODA Class 11 and COR 1600 Light Buggy racer Jeff Wolfe commented on Facebook that it was “sad news, glad we were able to hangout at Bark River Rip Kyle”. Since the first season of the SODA competition in 2021, he had been a member of the team. As a part of his responsibilities as Vice President, he assisted in the management of the media division by performing tasks such as supplying footage for highlight reels and driver biography videos. Walter Ephriam Kyle Obituary: Walter Ephriam Kyle was born in Apohaqui on June 26, 1927; he was the son of the late Kenneth K. and Margaret V. (Tait) Kyle. Walter is survived by Georgia (Tribe), his beloved wife of 56 years, his daughter, Lois Kyle-Issenman and her husband John of Manotick, Ontario; his son, Roy Kyle and his wife Margaret of Apohaqui; five sisters: Ruby Stockton and her husband Wellman of Hamilton, Pearl Tribe of Sussex, Doris Oxton of Toronto, Jean McNevin and her husband George of Toronto and Frances Kyle of Sussex Corner; four grandchildren: Darcy Smith and her husband Chris, Heather Kyle and Pam Mallory, Michael Kyle and his wife Rona and Joshua Issenman; four great grandchildren: Michaela, Marcus, Bridget and Katie; as well as several nieces and nephews. Walter is predeceased by his only brother, Albert Kyle. Family was always first and very important to Walter. He was very involved with the Church of Ascension in Apohaqui, from the cemetery to the steeple. After lightning struck the first steeple, he put a rooster on top of the new one. Walter worked for Irving Oil for 14 years; from then on he was self employed and was one of the founders of Kingsco Transport. Mr. Walter Ephriam Kyle of 2915 Rte 121Apohaqui, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on June 27, 2007. It is with deep sadness that his family announces his death at the age of 80. Full Obituary
Timothy R. Kyle Obituary: Tim was born August 9, 1956 a son of A. Ray & Diane J. Chufo Kyle and was a lifelong Hubbard resident. He was a 1974 graduate of Hubbard High School; attended Youngstown State University and graduated in 1978 from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He was a third generation funeral director and embalmer; co-owner and Vice President of Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home for many years. He was Vice President of Western Reserve Leasing Livery Company for over 10 years, which provides specialty funeral vehicles to funeral homes in Northeastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. He also had worked at Liberty Steel Products Hubbard Plant for several years as a truck driver, and in the maintenance department. Tim’s commitment to his community was unwavering, always dedicating his time and efforts in anyway to help the citizens of Hubbard. His service reached beyond the funeral home, he loved and supported his entire family and all of his loving friends and colleagues. He was a dedicated member of the Hubbard Volunteer Fire Department for 22 years serving as Captain, Assistant Chief and retiring as Chief in 2000. He was a member of the Hubbard Community Fund Corporation; which is an agency of the Youngstown Area United Way. He was a member since 1984, serving on numerous committees, and for the last five years served as its Vice President. He also donated his time for the Second Harvest Food Bank Youngstown delivering food to area charities. Full Obituary
