Kenneth Mitchell Obituary (1936-2022): Our dearly cherished husband, brother, uncle, great-uncle, and a friend have passed away, and it is with a heavy heart and lots of love that we say goodbye to him. Kenneth Mitchell, who resided in Edmonton, Alberta, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022, at the age of 86 years. After spending his childhood in Lamont, Ken moved to Alberta to pursue his education at the University of Alberta, where he earned both a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education degree. Ken was a high school teacher in the Lamont School District as well as in the Edmonton public schools McNally and Jasper Place High School. In 1969, Ken and Melanie embarked on a journey throughout Europe that would last for the better part of a year. South East Asia, Australia, and New Zealand are just some of the places they’ve visited, and they’ve spent a lot of time in Hawaii. Skiing, reading, documentaries, and movies were some of Ken’s favorite things to do in his spare time. His generous nature, compassionate caregiving, and kind heart will be things that people remember most about him. Full Obituary

Kenneth T. Mitchell Cumberland, Rhode Island: At the age of 83, Kenneth T., a resident of Cumberland, passed away at the Grandview Center in Cumberland on Sunday, July 24, 2022. He was the departed spouse of the late Lillian (Diggnan) Mitchell, who was married to him. He was the son of William Mitchell and Mary (Cahalan) Mitchell, both of whom had passed away before he was born in Pawtucket. He spent the majority of his life in Cumberland as his home. After completing his high school education and receiving his diploma, Mr. Mitchell enlisted in the United States Army and gave his time and devotion to serving our nation during times of peace. After 37 years of service with the Osram-Sylvania Company in Central Falls in the capacity of Burner Repair Technician, Mr. Mitchell took early retirement in the year 1996. Full Obituary

Kenneth Mitchell, of Ford City, Pennsylvannia: On Friday, July 22, 2022, Kenneth Mitchell, who was 84 years old and from Ford City, passed away at his home. He was a native and lifelong resident of Kittanning, having been born there on March 14, 1938, the son of William Mitchell, who passed away, and Lydia Mitchell, who also passed away. Kenneth stepped down from his position as Chief Deputy Sheriff of Armstrong County and retired. He adhered to the beliefs of the Baptists. Kenneth was a member of several different fraternal organizations, including the Masonic Lodge No. 502, the Shriners, the Kittanning Elks Lodge, and the Ford City Eagles. He had a lot of hobbies that he liked to do for fun, such as riding four-wheelers, mowing the grass, watching television (especially sports and wrestling), and drinking beer with his friends.
