We regret to inform you that Judy Ann Hodges, 75, passed away on September 4, 2022, following a valiant fight with lung cancer. She is now in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, and has attained Eternal Life, which brings her immense delight. Judy was born in South Bend, Indiana, on February 17, 194,7 and then relocated to Knoxville, Tennessee, where she lived until she reached maturity. Judy wed L. C. Hodges and they cohabitated in numerous American cities due to his employment up to his death in 2015.

She attended Tabernacle Baptist Church and worked there while residing in Cartersville. She later relocated to Lakeland, Florida, and joined Crestview Baptist Church there. Judy’s husband L.C. died before she did. Hodges, his parents Floyd E. and Marjorie Nixon, and sister. Georgia B. Smith, too. Judy is survived by her son, Michael Hodges of Cartersville, Georgia; grandson, Myles Hodges of Cartersville, Georgia; sister, Barbara Wiland; nieces, Deborah Turner (James), Cynthia Cormany. 2. Judy Ann Smith Death – Obituary

At 8:10 p.m., Judy Ann Smith, 58, of Springfield, passed away. The hospice at St. John’s Hospital on Tuesday, September 14, 2004. She was the daughter of William A. and was born in Springfield on September 25, 1945. as well as Beulah Lowe Moss. She was married to James Cain, who died before her. On December 13, 1986, she wed David E. Smith in Springfield. Christian Assembly Church was where Judy belonged. She ran the household. Her parents and brother, Lemuel Moss, died before her.

She is survived by her husband: David E. Smith of Springfield, daughter: Amanda Kay Smith at home, two brothers: Evan (wife, Barbara) Moss and Leroy (wife, Judith) Moss both of Springfield, sister-in-law: Alice Moss of New Berlin and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation will be accorded by the Cremation Tribute Center, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. A memorial service will be held at Christian Assembly Church, 2105 E. Reservoir, Springfield and burial in Chatham Memorial Cemetery at a later date. Source
