1. John Dicocco Death, born in Schenectady, NY – Obituary

John DiCocco, age 54, passed away in the comfort of his own home on the 14th of September, 2022. He was surrounded by his devoted family at the time of his passing. John DiCocco was the son of the late Anthony and Domenica DiCocco. He was born in Schenectady, New York. He was the youngest of three siblings, and throughout their childhood, he was the one who made them laugh the most. He was the focal point of their universe. His wife and children had a deep and abiding affection for John.

Admirable was his tenacity and his capacity to triumph over any and all obstacles that were placed in his path, all the while ensuring that his loved ones were never put under any kind of strain. He was a pillar of support for everyone, and everyone will be profoundly affected by his passing; yet, his love will endure in the hearts of all of his family members. John is survived by his loving wife and high school sweetheart, Brenda DiCocco. John and Brenda have been inseparable since they first met as teenagers and have built a beautiful life together.  Read More

 

2. Remo Di Cocco Death, of Rotterdam – Obituary

Remo Longo Di Cocco was the son of the late Enrico and Adelina Longo Di Cocco. Remo was born in Fontechiari, which is located in the province of Frosinone in Italy. Remo and his family made the journey across the ocean to the United States in 1955, and he received his diploma from Mont Pleasant High School in 1960. Following his honorable discharge from the United States Army, Remo worked in the construction industry in New Jersey for a number of years until accepting a position as a draughtsman with General Electric in Schenectady.

After that, he spent a number of years working in logistics until finally retired from GE. Remo gave his time occasionally at the Festa held at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, which is the same church where he regularly attended Mass. He was an avid outdoorsman who spent several years working at the Hickory Hill Ski Center, where his hobbies included fishing and skiing. Along with his parents, Remo was preceded in death by his brother Eugene Di Cocco, who passed away in 2009. Eugene died in 2009.  Read More
