On March 13, 2022, early Sunday morning, Henry J. Wright Sr., 85 years old and a resident of Watauga, Texas, passed away. Henry was born in Burkburnett Texas on January 9th,1937. Henry obtained his diploma from Will Roger High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he completed his high school education. He got her attention by pelting her with pebbles, and they ended up getting married. She was his childhood sweetheart from the neighborhood. On the first of January in 1957, they got married in the house of the minister. Henry served in the United States Air Force for a total of 28 years, most of that time spent in the roles of aircraft crew chief and aircraft maintenance.
Additionally, he served his country in Vietnam for a total of two deployments. After Henry’s career in the Air Force came to an end, he stayed on for another 20 years at Lockheed, where he assisted in the production of some of the most advanced and advanced fighter aircraft in the world, until finally retiring. However, Henry never stopped contributing. He thoroughly loved his time spent as a volunteer at the Fort Worth Aviation Museum, where he contributed countless hours to the reconstruction and restoration of military aircraft intended for display. Together, Henry and his wife Claudia were huge fans of NASCAR; in fact, they were season ticket holders and traveled all over the United States to attend events and races at various racetracks.
