1. Jean M. Cox Obituary, Marinette, Wisconsin – Death

On August 25th, 2022, after a protracted battle with cancer, Jean M. Cox lost her battle and passed away at ThedaCare Hospital in Neenah, Wisconsin. James Cox, who was from Marinette, Wisconsin, became her husband in 1971. Jean received her nursing education at the New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, and worked as a registered nurse there. She was the daughter of Kenton Beaujean and Jean (Mehr) Beaujean and was born in the year 1951 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Her parents and her brother both passed away before to her passing.

Jean is survived by her husband, James; their daughters, Audrey (Travis) Jensen and Cathryn Cox; their two granddaughters, Cade and Maren Jensen; and two sisters, JoAnn (Zeno) Henninger of Maine and Jenny Beaujean of Massachusetts. Also surviving are James. In place of a funeral service, a modest gathering of relatives and friends was convened. Jeanne overcame a number of physical challenges during her life, such as polio, Erb’s palsy, and esophageal cancer; nonetheless, she never allowed other people to set restrictions on what she was capable of accomplishing.  Jeanne took pleasure in a number of hobbies, including adorning the interior of her home, hosting dinner parties for her loved ones, and going to the theater. She had a lot of affection for her friends and enjoyed spending time with them, whether it was eating lunch together or having lengthy conversations over the phone. Jeanne’s children, grandchildren, and dogs were all aware of the depth of her affection for them, and it was one of her favorite things to do to spoil them.

Her loved ones, including her friends, are going to miss her tremendously. Jeanne is survived by her son Brian (Angie) Cox of Des Moines; her daughter Stephanie (Doug) Adkisson of Ankeny; her grandchildren Christian (Genevieve) Crouse; Dolan Cox and Emma Cox; her brother John Dolan; her sister-in-law Susan Dolan; her sister-in-law Marcy (Kyle) Knee; and her nephews Danny (Fracena) Dolan and Drew Dolan, as well as her niece Hannah Her parents and her brother, Dr. Thomas Dolan, as well as her mother-in-law, Doris Bockoven, all away before she did.
