On September 1, 2022, Janet Mc Carver Hagan passed away quietly at her home in Dripping Springs, Texas, surrounded by her family. She had lived in Texas all of her life. Her death came after a valiant two-year battle against pancreatic cancer, which she had been waging for the previous 79 years. Every day since her passing, her presence is sorely missed. Janet is survived by her devoted husband, Bob Kettlewell, as well as a loving family that includes her daughter Kaye Bonner and Andy Wood, her granddaughter Heather Bonner.

Her sister Diane Pruessner and John, and their son, Jonathon. She is also survived by Bob’s three daughters, Rhonda Aubin, Regina and Don Smith, and Bobbilyn Williams and their families, in addition to many close cousins and lifelong friends who will miss her greatly. Her dog, whose name was “Precious,” was by her side at all times. In addition to numerous cherished aunts, uncles, and cousins, Janet’s parents, L.H. and Gladys Mc Carver, her sister, Inez Hinchcliff, and her husband Joe Hinchcliff all passed away before she did. After a protracted bout with illness, Mrs. Janet C. Hagan, 85, who resided on Marconi Drive, passed away on Monday morning, June 17th, at Ellis Health Care in Schenectady. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Bernice Russ, as well as Nettie Russ, and she was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on April 2, 1928. After working as a tax clerk for the New York State Department of Tax and Finance in Albany for 20 years, Janet finally decided to retire a number of years ago.

Janet, who was a devout member of Alcoholics Anonymous and an active mentor, guided a great number of people through challenging periods in their life while serving in this capacity. Janet was a loving mother and grandmother who was a woman who enjoyed shopping and spending time at the beach in Narragansett, Rhode Island, with her family during the summer months. John J.
