2. James William Hall Death, of Prussia – Obituary

James William “Bill” Hall, age 76, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2006, at home, surrounded by the affection of his family. He had battled lung cancer for many years. Bill Hall has spent his whole life in Racine. He was born there on May 28, 1929, to Gorman and Gertrude (nee: Baggott) Hall, who have now passed away. After completing his education at St. Rose Catholic Grade School in 1943 and St. Catherine’s High School with the “Class of 1947,” he went on to receive a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University in 1952. He is quite proud of this accomplishment. In addition to this, Bill served his Country honorably in the United States Navy for many years. At St. Edward’s Church on January 10, 1953,

he exchanged vows of matrimony with Carol Rose Schuit, the woman who would become his lifelong companion. Bill’s employment history includes stints with DuPont, the United States Navy, and Western Publishing, all of which came to an end when he established his own engineering consulting firm called J.W. Hall and Associates. He attended Mass every Sunday at the Catholic Church of St. Paul the Apostle with great zeal. Bill was quite active in the Racine Manufacturers Association, where he eventually became a former president. He was passionate about numerous things, but some of his favorite pastimes included golf, downhill skiing, and going on exciting excursions.  Read more
