Adult and kid pedestrians were killed in the Lake George tragedy, according to James Persons and Quinton Delgoteto. James A. Persons, 38, and Quinton P. Delgoteto, 8, both of Lake George, have been named as the fatalities of a vehicle-pedestrian collision in Lake George.

According to authorities, Anthony J. Futia, 33, of Albany, was riding his motorcycle north on Route 9 at a high rate of speed when he lost control and struck a group of pedestrians at 4 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

In the incident, Persons and Delgoteto were killed, while another pedestrian was taken to Albany Medical Center and is in stable condition.

In critical condition, Futia was airlifted to Albany Medical Center. The deadly accident is being investigated by the New York State Police.
