1. James Corgan Death, Of San Bernardino – Obituary

The victim of a fatal crash that occurred Thursday evening in Canyon Lake and involved a single vehicle has been identified as a San Bernardino resident. He was 48 years old. According to the Riverside County Sheriff-Bureau, Coroner’s James Corgan passed away at the scene of the accident on eastbound Railroad Canyon Road, approximately one hundred yards east of Skylink Drive. It was 8:34 p.m. when the collision was first reported. Corgan had a medical problem, according to the early inquiry, and then slammed into some signpost, according to Sgt. Brandi Swan of the sheriff’s department. According to Swan, Corgan was the only passenger in the vehicle, and no other people were hurt in the collision.  Source

2. James Xavier Corgan Death, Of Woodstock – Obituary

On August 20, 2012, James Xavier Corgan, Jr., who was a resident of Woodstock, Trenton, Kentucky, passed away at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. His parents, James Xavier Corgan, Sr. and Eleanor Donahue Corgan, as well as his first wife, Dorothy Van Buskirk of Kansas City, all passed away before him. He is survived by his brother, James Xavier Corgan, Jr. He is survived by his current wife, Elnor Weaks McMahan Corgan; two step-sons, Whitnell McMahan (and his wife Stacie) and John Thornton McMahan (and his wife Jennifer); two step-granddaughters, Catherine Amelia McMahan and Melorah Grace McMahan of Lakeside Park, Kentucky; and a godchild, Colleen McCluskey of Tomahawk, Wisconsin.

He was preceded in death by his Several members of the extended family, including Lois Dege (Jerry) of Flanders, New Jersey, Marie Teresa McDonald (Thomas) of Bedminster, New Jersey, Cecelia McCarthy (Jack), Michael Corgan (Katie),  Mary Conley of Kingston, Pennsylvania, and Dr. Margaret Corgan of Mountain Top, Pennsylvania, are still alive. Lois Dege was married to Jerry. Marie Teresa McDonald was married to Thomas. The members of the Weaks, McMahan, and Van Buskirk families were considered to be special in-laws.
