Jack H. Fenton Obituary, Salem, N.H: Jack H. Fenton, a current resident of Salem, New Hampshire, and a native of Reading, Massachusetts, passed away on April 8 at his home in Salem, New Hampshire, surrounded by his family and friends. On April 14, 1930, he was the son of Leo and Helen Fenton, who have since passed away. He was born in Somerville, Massachusetts. Jack completed his high schooling at Woburn and received his diploma there. Jack was a proud veteran because he was a veteran of the United States Air Force and because he had served his country with honor during the Korean Conflict. After moving to Salem, Jack organized and led patriotic memorial services for the veterans who lived in the condominium community where he lived. Since 1963, Jack has been wed to the devoted woman he calls his wife, Patricia. They did all of the raising of their two daughters in Reading, Massachusetts. His daughter Stacy Seavey, her husband Robin, and their children Connor and Patrick are the only members of his loving family who will carry on after him. His daughter Julie, her husband John, and the couple’s children Olivia and Liam were also in attendance. Jack was an adoring and proud father to his children. His grandchildren were the source of his greatest joy and pride. Jack will be remembered as someone who was always ready with a fantastic story or a hilarious joke. Fenton, a well-known businessman in the Wyalusing area, lost his battle with an extended illness and passed away at the age of 68 on Monday, November 7, 2011 at the Robert Packer Hospital. He had been hospitalized for the illness for some time. He is the son of Edmund Fenton, who passed away, and Marian Reeser Fenton, who also passed away. He was born in Mehoopany, Pennsylvania. On January 20, 2020, he passed away at his home in Salem, Oregon, surrounded by his family at the time of his passing. Jack spent his childhood in Warrenton, Oregon, where he also received his education. He earned his high school diploma from Warrenton’s schools in the year 1954. It is possible that he enjoyed his time spent in school more than the majority of his peers did. During his time at the high school, he participated in three sports: baseball, football, and basketball. He was particularly successful as a left-handed pitcher in baseball. When Jack was a senior in high school, he was named to the all-star team, he threw a no-hitter, and he participated in the state playoffs.
