2.Helen A. Hiles Death– Obituary

On March 19, 2022, Helen Adele Hiles, 62, of Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, passed away. She was the daughter of the late Helen Jane (Patterson) Duncan and John Thomas Duncan, who were married on June 26, 1959, in Darby, Pennsylvania. For more than 30 years, Helen taught English in the Spring-Ford School District. Helen coached kids in her spare time to help them achieve and surpass their goals since she loved teaching and seeing her pupils succeed.

“Although I always hated English classes and Mrs. Hiles gave a lot of work, I learned to love her by the end of the year. She would tell us stories about her past and her growing up. She also used tissues to move everything. Mama Hiles always knew how to make us laugh! Although she could not get me to love English, she did get me to like her and not completely hate class. She took the time to see me and help me with my NJHS essay and I would not have been accepted without her. I loved being one of her Little campers!! Love you Mama Hiles”.Source
