Beloved wife of Benjamin Baker, who predeceased her, and devoted mother of Gail (Ronald) Check, Roberta (Jacob) Hohenstein, and Ronald (Ingrid) Baker. Benjamin Baker predeceased her. Her devoted grandson Alexander Hohenstein was the one who passed away before her. Matthew Check, Jonathan Check (Sara), Michael Hohenstein, Allen Baker, and Benjamin Baker were her devoted grandchildren. She is also survived by Michael Hohenstein. Funeral services for Hannah M. Baker will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at 2 p.m. at the Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel, and Reverend Nancy Hendrix will preside over the ceremony. Laird Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for the interment, which will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The Laird Funeral Home on Union Street will be open for visitation on Monday, May 3, 2010, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, and on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. She was a former resident of Northampton, Massachusetts. She was educated in Northampton, Massachusetts, where she was also born. Her parents, Thomas Sr. and Grace (LaFlamme) Boyle, both passed away before she was born. Margaret was an employee at the Yankee Candle Company in Deerfield, Massachusetts, for a number of years. She was the surviving spouse of Raymond J. Baker, Jr., who had passed away prior to her in the year 1990. Margaret is survived by her sons, Jason Baker and his wife Carrie of Easthampton, Massachusetts, and Nathan Baker and his wife Jennifer of Enfield, Connecticut; a step-daughter, Amy Baker of Hatfield, Massachusetts; two granddaughters, Emily Baker and Hannah Baker; her siblings, Thomas, William, Kevin, and Brian Boyle, Kathy Cantin, Doreen Morin, and Patricia Drewitz; and a large number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
