1. Grant Gable Death, Of Bourbonnais – Obituary

Grant Gable, who was a resident of Bourbonnais, Illinois, has been identified as the person who perished in a deadly car accident that included law enforcement on Thursday night in LaPorte County, Indiana. Thursday night in Michigan City, Indiana, an accident between a vehicle and Indiana State Police claimed the life of Gable, who was 18 years old. At approximately 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, law enforcement authorities in Michigan City attempted to perform a traffic stop. According to the reports,

Gable was allegedly driving the wrong way on Michigan Boulevard at the time of the stop attempt. The driver refused to pull over, which led to the pursuit that followed. During the course of the pursuit, Gable’s vehicle was involved in a collision with some concrete pillars that were located close to Ames Field. After that, the truck flew into the air before crashing into a brick wall. At the scene, it was determined that Gable had died from injuries caused by blunt impact trauma. The investigators are still trying to determine what caused the crash.  Source

2. Cooper Grant Death, Of Port Wentworth – Obituary

Yong Ae Kim Cooper Grant, 49, died in the early morning hours of Monday, January 24, 2011 at Hospice Savannah. She was the wife of Andre Raymond Grant and lived in Port Wentworth, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Kim Teh Oak Kim and the late Goo Pil Joh Kim. She was born in P’Yongtaek, which is located in South Korea. Yong was a caregiver at Wisteria Gardens Assisted Living in Pooler in addition to working for the Savannah Chatham County Board of Education at Pooler Elementary School. He was also a member of the Savannah Korean United Methodist Church. Nickia Yong Cooper of Garden City and Ikeshia Shaunta Cooper of Port Wentworth are her surviving daughters.

She also leaves behind a large number of sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews in South Korea. Her husband, Andre Raymond Grant, of Port Wentworth, Georgia, is also among those who have survived. During this trying time, the family would like to express their gratitude to Doctor Carlton Kemp and his entire staff for the extraordinary care that they provided. Gamble Funeral Service, located at 410 Stephenson Avenue, will have a visitation for the family on Friday evening beginning at 5 o’clock and continuing until 7 o’clock.
