Glen Morris Godfrey Obituary Logan, UT: On June 19, 2018, Glen Morris Godfrey, age 66, passed away after a brief but valiant battle with cancer. He had been battling the disease for some time. He was the youngest of nine children and was the product of a birth that took place on November 28th, 1951 in the city of Logan, Utah. His parents were Nathan Rulon Godfrey and Flo Thompson Godfrey. Glen was a genuine country boy who was ecstatic to call Clarkston his hometown. He had a genuine affection for both his hometown and the land he had spent his entire life cultivating. He took pleasure in many activities, but the one thing he looked forward to the most was completing it so that he could get back on his tractor and work. Farming was both a family tradition and a lifelong interest for him. After graduating from high school, Glen enlisted in the Army Reserves and served in that capacity for a number of years. He looked back on his time in the military with a sense of satisfaction and pride. Full Obituary
Glenn Gordon Godfrey Sr. Kodiak, Alaska: Col. GODFREY was the first Alaska Native to serve as commissioner of the Alaska Department of Public Safety and was instrumental in starting the Village Public Safety Officer (VPSO) program in Alaska. He was also the first person to serve as commissioner of the Alaska Department of Public Safety. Both he and his wife were killed when a gunman entered their home in Eagle River. She managed to pull through and is now an advocate for other victims. Mr. Godfrey was born on January 26, 1949, in Kodiak, Alaska. His parents were Harold GODFREY (n.d.) and Nyda P. Glenn Perry Godfrey Obituary, Sanford: On Friday, November 26, 2021, at the age of 62, Glenn Perry Godfrey, who resided in Sanford, passed away at his residence. On August 28, 1959, he was welcomed into the world in Forsyth County by his parents, Joan Thomas Godfrey and the late Bobby Byron Godfrey. His granddaughter Katlynn Michele Calbro and his sister Donna Sue Godfrey both passed away before him, following in the footsteps of his father. Glenn spent many years working in the construction industry, where he became a jack of all trades and was able to fix anything. He was a prankster who delighted in making other people laugh and possessed a smile that was impossible to forget. Glenn had a golden heart and will be sorely missed by many people. Full Obituary
