1. Elizabeth Seltzer Death, Of Mercer County – Obituary
Around midnight on Thursday, fire personnel from Mercer County were dispatched to a burning near Fredonia. When they arrived, they discovered a multi-story farmhouse that was completely engulfed in flames. The dental and medical records of Elizabeth Seltzer, age 33, and her three children, Pasiley, age 6, Ainsley, age 3, and Jordan, age 1, allowed for their identification as the persons responsible for their deaths, as stated by the Mercer County coroner. According to the authorities, there was a fifth individual discovered inside of the farmhouse. According to the officials, the reason for death and the circumstances surrounding it have not yet been determined. The state police and a fire marshal are conducting an investigation to determine what caused the fire. Source

On the morning of Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at around 6:00 a.m., Joan M. Seltzer, age 54, of New Castle, Delaware, passed away in her home due to natural causes. Ms. Seltzer, the daughter of Robert B. and Shirley A. (Gibson) Seltzer, was born on February 11, 1967 in New Castle. Her parents’ names are Robert B. and Shirley A. (Gibson) Seltzer. She received her associate’s degree from ITT Tech in Youngstown, Ohio, after graduating from New Castle High School in 1985 and completing her studies there. Joan has experience working as a paralegal for a variety of law companies in western Pennsylvania. She also spent some time working in the same position in Philadelphia, albeit for a shorter period of time.
She was a voracious reader and also enjoyed handicraft, including painting with friends, making jewellery, and producing personalised Christmas cards. Her mother, Shirley Seltzer, and her sister, Bobbi Jo Houk (and her husband Jim), both of New Castle, as well as her brother, Jim Seltzer (and his wife Terri), of Cranberry Township, a niece, Mary Taylor (and her husband Jake Hilliker), and a nephew, Ryan Houk, are among those who are able to carry on Joan’s legacy.
