The victim of a motorcycle accident that took place on Saturday afternoon west of Hudson has been recognized by the authorities. According to the South Dakota Department of Public Safety, a Harley Davidson motorcycle was heading in the westbound direction on 294th Street when the driver turned left onto Spur Avenue. The rider was unable to properly navigate the curve, and as a result, the motorcycle skidded off the road and into the west ditch. A former cop has agreed to enter a guilty plea as part of a deal.

Both of the passengers were flung off of the motorcycle. It was determined that the driver, Donald Farnsworth III, 57, from Canton, had passed away at the scene of the accident. The Highway Patrol of South Dakota is conducting an investigation into the collision. The information that has been made public up to this point is simply preliminary. Throughout his entire life, family and friends have fondly referred to him as Todd. He was an attentive son and a kind brother in addition to being a devoted father.
